The Confrontation
Michael had been waiting in the parking garage for over an hour. He was getting really tired of waiting. Then Richard finally came out of the building. Richard had his phone up to his ear. He was laughing. Richard was talking to someone, on the phone. He thought something was really funny.
He ended the call. Headed toward his car. Then he stopped moving because Michael was standing in front of him blocking his way. Michael was just standing there. This really surprised him. He did not expect to see Michael at that moment especially not standing in the path to his car.
Richard said “You think you can just come back like nothing happened?”. He was really loud. At first Richard was very surprised. Then he got very angry. Richard is the kind of person who usually scares people. He always wants to be, in charge of every situation. He likes being the boss. He does not like it when people do not listen to him. Richard is used to getting his way. He does not like it when things do not go as planned.
Michael took a step closer to the person he was talking to his voice was steady but you could tell he was really mad and trying not to show it. “You messed up my life ” Michael said, “and then you just walked away with a smile, on your face.”
Richard said this to Michael because he thought Michael deserved it. He took a step forward. Pushed Michael back. You were not strong Michael. You are still not strong. Michael you are nothing, without Richard. Michael was never going to be able to do things on his own Richard said.
Michael quickly grabbed the front of Richards shirt. Pulled him in close. This really surprised Richard because Michael was being very forceful all of a sudden. Richard thought Michael was an easygoing person but now he was being very aggressive and that was not what Richard was used to with Michael.
Michael said “I was quiet”. He wanted to make it clear that being quiet is not the thing, as being weak. Michael said “there is a difference” and his voice got louder when he said that. He really wanted people to understand that being quiet and being weak are two things. Michael felt strongly about this.
Richard tried to pull but Michaels grip was really strong. Michael had been holding in his anger for a time about five years and that had made him very powerful, not just in his body but also in his mind. Michaels grip on Richard was, like a vice it was that strong. It showed the strength that Michael had built up over the years the strength that came from controlling his rage for so long the rage that Michael felt.
Let go of me Richard said loudly. His voice was shaking a little. I will call security Richard told him. I will have you arrested for hitting me he said about the assault.
Michael let him go and took a step back. His face changed from being angry, to something that was not angry anymore. It looked like he was thinking hard like he was trying to figure something out. Michaels expression was cold like he was calculating what to do with the person in front of him Michael.
Michael said to me “And tonight you are going to have to answer for the things that you have done.” His voice was really calm. It sounded cold and scary. He meant business. I knew that I was in trouble because of what I did, to Michael.

Michael got out his phone. Pressed a button. Then Richards phone started buzzing. It was buzzing a lot because it was getting a lot of notifications, from everywhere. Michael did this to Richards phone. Now Richards phone had a lot of notifications.
Richard wanted to know what I did. He asked me in an urgent way. He was checking his device over and over again like he was really worried, about something. Richard looked at me. Said “What did you do?” because he really needed to know the answer.

Michael sent everything to all the big technology journalists, in the country. He sent it to the board of directors at the company. Michael sent everything to the investors too.
Richards face turned really white. “You are not telling the truth you do not have. “
Michael cut in. Said “we have five years of evidence”. This evidence includes emails that you thought you had deleted.
